Although I grew up on a salt marsh on the northeastern coast of Florida, my favorite wetland in the world is Cutler Marsh. This wetland area covers over 10,000 acres and has a plethora of wildlife. What it does NOT have is alligators, water moccasins, and miserable humid heat. In other words, Cutler Marsh has all the beauty of the marshes of the sub-tropical American South, without the negative side effects.
